Beautiful Place to Call home

I have been at Archstone Toscano for two years now. Although I will not be renewing my lease in September, I have enjoyed my residency at Toscano. The amenities are great...3 pools, great fitness center and more. My only complaints would be sometimes the hallways are a dirty for an extended period of time, parking is bad if you come home anytime after 7pm. I live on the second floor and frequently have to park on the 4th or 5th floor. The carpet in my unit has not held up well despite doing my best to keep it in good shape. The office staff has always been amazing and very attentive to my needs. Overall it has been a really good experience. I sort of hate to leave....but just looking for a change of scenery.

Great GREAT Complex!

The area is phenomenal. I'm a runner and I feel safe running 3 miles at sundown in Houston, that's unheard of. The staff genuinely cares about its residents and puts them first. (I once left my curling iron on when I left for work and called the office - they turned it off for me. like, WHAT? awesome.) New complex, great fixtures and architecture. Quick fixes to all maintenance requests. The complex itself is safe, gated, and beautiful. 3 courtyards, 2 pools, and 2 giant hammocks under string lights great for reading. Decent, basic gym. Very close to bars and restaurants. Only 2 flaws: I'm new to Houston, I was a little upset I didn't meet more young people at this particular complex. But I'm 50 at heart, I like to sleep and watch netflix, so not a total loss. Cell service is a little spotty on the lower inner units. Rent is a little high for my taste but its very reasonable considering the prime location. Overall I'm VERY happy here!

Archstone has great management

I'm so happy that I live in this complex. I have lived here for a full year, and if I didn't have to move out of town, I would definitely extend my lease. This complex is always clean. I feel completely safe because all of the gates are always closed. It's a quiet area. The management is helpful. Any time a light has gone out or I've asked for a technician, I have received help within the day. Very highly recommended.
