Dog-sitting for free summer housing near campus/med-center

Seeking responsible dog-lover(s) to care for Vincent (neutered, rescued, GSM, around 9yrs old, 83 lbs) in return for free summer accommodation. Vincent needs 2 walks a day, company, affection, occasional brushing, and meals. A sitter who is able to... work (at least partially) from home in June is preferred.

Experience handling large, protective dogs and/or a willingness to learn, and readiness to get to know Vincent before move-in would be an advantage.

The free housing is in a large bedroom with queen bed, desk, ensuite and small walk-in closet. Suite is within a 2600 ft single-family residence near campus. Large kitchen, dining, living areas, central air-conditioning. Could work for an individual or couple. Cleaning and yard service are provided. We are happy to consider a sitter who also has their own pet.

We will be away in June, 2026. Dog-sitter is welcome to stay in house rent-free from mid-May to August if needed. During this additional time, the sitter would not have responsibility for Vincent but would be sharing the house with 2 faculty members and 1 child.
