This professionally designed 2-story house is bathed in natural light and 360-degree views of mature trees in this historic neighborhood.

It has a dedicated 2-car garage and a third dedicated outdoor parking space. Ideal for university students or professors. It is centrally located near downtown, universities (1.8 miles from Rice University and the University of Houston), the Museum District, the Medical Center, Hermann Park, and Sports Venues.

A one-year lease is preferred. Tenants pay for electricity based on usage; all other utilities, including blazing-speed internet. Yard maintenance and trash service are included in the rent. A small dog or cat is acceptable.

The cottage has a yard and a huge 2nd-story front porch. It shares the lot with a beautiful historic residential property, which will be home to a group of 5 Rice University students starting in Fall 2026. The cottage is accessed via a private street.

You will be joining an extended student community, as University students will occupy two additional houses on the block. Currently, one of the houses on the block is occupied by Rice University graduating seniors.

The landlord will provide references so you may contact Rice residents of the block regarding their experiences in the neighborhood and with the landlord.

You only need to bring your personal belongings to begin living comfortably. Each bedroom has a desk and a chair.
