Dog-sitting for free summer housing near campus
Seeking responsible dog-lover to care for Vincent (neutered, rescued, GSM, around 8yrs old, 83 lbs) in return for free summer accommodation. Vincent needs 2 walks a day, company, affection, occasional brushing, and meals. Sitter with experience... handling large, protective dogs and/or a willingness to learn, and to get to know Vincent, is preferred.
The free housing is in large bedroom with queen bed, desk, ensuite and small walk-in closet. Suite is within a 2600 ft single-family residence near campus. Large kitchen, dining, living areas, central air. Could work for an individual or couple. Cleaning and yard service are provided.
Our travel dates are flexible but we will be away for 4-6 weeks during the summer. Additionally, sitter is welcome to stay in house rent-free from mid-May to August if needed. During this additional time, sitter would not have responsibility for Vincent but would be sharing the house with 2 faculty members and 1 child.
